Flat details
Romance, history and architecture are all contained in this 400 year old house in the heart of Mala Strana, the oldest quarter of Prague. All the details of this building and the quarter are carefully controlled by the department of Historic Buildings. Gaslit, cobblestoned and winding streets lead you to this house. Through the ancient door, up two flights of steps you enter the flat. Parquet floors, vaults and arches, large windows, a terrace in the rear with fairy tale views of the Charles Bridge and Prague, all contribute to a feeling of elegance and romance. The comfortable furnishings and cross ventilation guarantee a pleasant stay. The fully equipped kitchen and bath provide for your ease and comfort, making it one of the finest accommodations in Prague.
Area Information
When we say AMAZING location, you can better believe we mean it! Not only do you get an astounding view of the Charles Bridge that people living in Prague would KILL for, but you'll be surrounded by all the best things to do while visiting here. Surrounding this flat are all kinds of little winding streets with great little shops and cafes (there's a great little Vinotechque about 50 steps from the building!) Those feeling physically fit can take a stroll through the Lesser Quarter (Mala Strana) up to the castle but we warn you, there's a bit of a hill! Lucky for you, just jump on the 22 or 23 tram at Malostranksa station (5 min walk away) and you'll be whisked to the top in no time and then you can enjoy a nice casual stroll down. You can also catch the Metro at the same station which will take you to just about anywhere you need to go in Prague. Make sure you don't miss the charming Vojanovy Sady Park (go out the front door, follow the big wall in front of you to the right until you see the entrance) where you'll be amazed how quiet it can be in the center of town and you're sure to see some old men feeding the pigeons and if you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of a peacock or to (no lie!)
